Weekly Dooley: 14

The question of the week: What was the first commercially successful computer mouse made out of?

Leave your answers below and check back later today for the answer! #weeklydooley

Answer: Wood

The first computer mouse was developed by Douglas Engelbart in the 1960s. The protype, which was publicly demonstrated in 1968, was made of wood. It had a boxy shape with 2 wheels perpendicular to each other, allowing it to track movement on the surface it was placed on.
