The Weekly Dooley is back! Just a fun weekly Technology Trivia question. Question will be sent out weekly on LinkedIn and the answer will be posted in the afternoon on the same day.
Why "Dooley?"
Inspired by the founder's alma mater - Emory University's spirit mascot, Dooley represents the voice of the student body. And when Dooley shows up to your class, you can count on a fun time and the rest of the day off!
This week's question: What was the original name of the now ubiquitous search engine "Google?"
Just have fun with it and leave your answers or comments!
Answer: BackRub
Named by founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 1996. They officially changed the name in 1998 (whew!). I think we are all glad they did and we don't have to use phrases like "backrubbing" or "backrubbed."
